POSITION TITLE SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER POSITION REPORTS TO: Lead Process EngineerPRIMARY OBJECTIVETo undertake Process engineering design work in with true regard to Safety both in design detail and engineering design executionTo carry out design work in compliance with the national, state and client a*set Codes & Standards under direction from the Lead Process EngineerTo engineer all design work in line with the Process QA manual and Worley’s procedures.To be innovative in design work with due regard to minimisation of cost whilst maintaining technical integrityTo undertake all work within the estimated man hour budget and within scheduleTo a*sist in the recruitment and development of Process & Graduate Process engineers.To keep all Process documentation in a state of readiness for Audit purposesSPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIESTo provide definition of the Process engineering work in the Project, design approach or criteria by skill and experience as directed by the Lead Process EngineerTo clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessaryPrior to commencement of any Process work , a Process scope of work (SoW) must be written and agreed with the Lead Process Engineer (or designated representative). The Process SoW must clearly state the workscope, manhour budget and schedule to complete the workEstimate Process manhours for any job using the current TW Process manhour normsResponsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary. Supervision of technical detail, budget and schedule of Process design in Project work where requested by the Lead Process EngineerLiaison with client, vendors and outside parties in a professional mannerWhere requested to undertake Process focal point dutiesTo plan manhour budgets and schedules for all Projects within the focal point area of responsibility.To manage all resources allocated to the focal point area of responsibility (both technically and by discipline specific project controls)To liaise with the equivalent client focal point on technical and engineering matters on a regular basisQuality a*surance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality a*surance system relevant to the Project.Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCEo B.Sc or B.Eng Chemical Engineering degreeo More than 10 years process engineering experience in design/operations support related to the oil & gas production and processing industries, with at least64 years in conceptual, FEED and detailed design in the Oil & Gas Industry.o Computer skills particularly of process simulation packages such as HYSYS and PRO/11 and in commercial software including databases, spreadsheets and word processing packages o Experience in the development of process flow diagrams, heat and ma*s balances and piping and instrument diagrams, and in sizing and specification of equipment including separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and dehydration and sweetening units o A good working knowledge of the codes and standards relating to the offshore oil and gas industry particularly the API recommended practices and ASME/ANSI pipe and pressure vessel codes o Good report writing skills CLICK LINK FOR DETAILS
